Carrollton’s Spring Events

Looking for some fun this spring? Carrollton has plenty of family friendly and enjoyable actives and events scheduled for this spring!

“Now That’s a Bargain Weekend” – April 25th-27th – This event will be held at General Butler State Park and offers guests the opportunity to camp one night and get a second night FREE! This event will special entertainment and activities for guests and is a perfect opportunity to visit General Butler State Park in Carrollton.

Spring Bash: Demo Derby – May 9th & 10th -Carrollton’s Spring Demo Derby will be

held at the Carrollton Fairgrounds off Highway 227 behind Walmart. The event will feature the Demo Derby, vending provided by Carroll County Fair Board and a friendly atmosphere to provide a great a memorable experience!

Pioneer Power Club’s Annual Tractor Show- May 9th & 10th – ┬áThis show will feature an antique tractor display at Kentucky Motors located on Highway 42 in Carrollton. Event will feature vendors, antique tractor and farm equipment, and fun activities for everyone.

Steel Magnolias- May 9th-11th – Steel Magnolias (a play adapted by Robert Harling) will be performed at the Historic English School House May 9th & 10th at 7 p.m. Admission to the shows will be $12. The May 11th showing will feature lunch along with the play at 1 p.m. Admission to this showing will be $30 and reservations are required. Kentucky Kruizer Saturday Night Cruise In (Hawaiian Night) – May 17th

The Kentucky Kruizer will be on display at Coopers starting at 6 p.m. that evening. This event will feature the Kentucky Kruizer car show, Hawaiian inspired festivities, and much more!

Backyard Concert Series – May 24th – Friends of Butler presents the Backyard Concert Series, which will kick off on May 24th at 7 p.m. at the Butler-Turpin house in General Butler State Resort Park. The talent for this month’s concert will be Greg Ziesmer and Kris Luckett. Bring your lawn chair and a picnic along with a few friends and come enjoy some great music and friendly atmosphere.

Three Rivers Motorcycle Festival – May 23rd-25th- Since May is Motorcycle Awareness Month, Carrollton decided to celebrate by hosting a Motorcycle Festival! The festival will be held at the Carroll County Fairgrounds and will feature vendors, veterans ceremony, motorcycle show and a motorcycle demolition derby!
