To celebrate the 90th Anniversary of Kentucky State Parks, General Butler State Resort Park has a offered called “90 Get’s You 9 Adventures Days.”  General Butler State Resort Park was dedicated into the Kentucky State Park system on Wednesday, August 12, 1931.  In honor of this month, we are going to dedicate 9 Days of Adventures savings and fun!  90 Get’s You 9 Adventures Days is a lodging package good for Butler Lodge Rooms  for $90.00 +taxes to include: Breakfast (for two), Mini Golf (for two), and 1 hr Boat Rental (paddleboat, canoe or rowboat).  For an additional $9.00 per person you can play 18 holes with cart at our 9 Hole Golf Course. We do encourage that you take a tour of Butler-Turpin State Historic House & Cemetary during your stay at a discounted rate of four persons @ $9.00.

Celebrate in groovy style at this family and dog friendly festival honoring Carroll County Animal Support, and other regional shelters’ efforts in reducing the pet over population by spaying and neutering, and finding furever homes. All proceeds raised from the festival goes directly to the Carroll County Animal Support’s mission.

Who’s afraid of the dark? Calling all brave souls to join us for a howling good times on the weekends listed! Evening activities are open to the general public and located in the Park’s Front Entrance: Haunted Train Track of Terror & Haunted Maze Shelterhouse, along with Glow in the Dark 18 Hole Mini Golf.
Resort guests staying the weekend at General Butler State Resort Park (Lodge, Cottage or Campers) can participant in the other day activities planned in the Campground on Saturday: such as, Creepy Fingers Pottery Workshop with Albert Bauman, and of course Trick or Treating for resort guest! Evening activities located in the Park Front Entrance will charge admission fees, and open to both resort and general public.

Dinner Theatres

We do more than just hosting entertainment!  We strive to create memorable experiences; whether walking the red carpet, taking in synchronized decorations our expectations are to create a full-scale theatrical experience for you!  Our shows have ranged from Murder Mysteries, Broadway Musicals, Game Show Nights, Musical Impressionist, Tribute Bands, and Tribute Comedy Acts. This year is Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson.
