Hike/Bike/Paddle Carroll County

Carrollton/Carroll County Tourism presents Hike, Bike, Paddle Carroll County at Point Park in Carrollton, Kentucky.  Registration begins at 7:30 AM.  Hike scenic General Butler State Resort Park’s Lake Trail, a moderately easy 1.6 mile loop beginning at 9:00 AM.  Trolley transportation will be provided approximately every 1/2 hour between Point Park and GBSRP from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  Bike either the “Cow Patty Trail” 25 mile guided ride through the rural countryside beginning at 8:30 AM or the “Town and Country” 6 mile marked route beginning at 9:30 AM.  Both Bike events begin and end at Point Park.  Paddle a guided route on the Ohio River beginning at the boat ramp in Ghent at noon.  This event requires attendance at a safety meeting before leaving.  Also there will be a “Big Dill” Pickleball Tournament held in a round-robin style starting Friday evening and continuing Saturday evening – 6:00 PM both nights.  For more information on this event, please call Carrollton/Carroll County Tourism at 502-732-7036.
